This module addresses the fundamentals of brake system principles and operation, such
as friction, kinetic energy, heat transfer through conduction, convection and radiation. It
also addresses the different types of brake fluid, their specific applications and the
possible additives. Finally, it addresses Pascal's law and how it relates to brake system
operation, which allows you to predict pressure, force and surface area.
